**Financial Analyst**

MTY Food Group is seeking an eager, curious, and passionate finance professional that will be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify business trends that drive company profitability. The individual will report to the Sr. Financial Analyst and work closely with other functional leaders. This role is part of the global MTY Food Group FP&A team.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

- Prepare weekly financial analysis for operational leaders
- Prepare monthly financial analysis for company leaders
- Provide support for annual planning and budgeting processes
- Present data-driven recommendations to the finance and operational teams
- Assist with financial modeling and forecasting
- Assist with statistical analysis, reporting and other projects as assigned
- Ad hoc reporting as needed (sales trends, menu analysis, etc.)

**Profile**:

- Bilingual-French and English an asset
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit, while also being autonomous.
- Adaptable, resilient, flexible, fast-paced/sense of urgency, and a high level of multitasking ability.
- Demonstrated process improvement/simplification expertise, technically sound;
- Cross-functional collaboration and ability to achieve business results with Senior Leadership partners and colleagues;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to write concisely and cohesively.

**Skills, Competencies & Certifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or economics is required

**Preferred qualifications**
- Excellent excel skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Power BI an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong academic record (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)

**Working environment and hours**:

- Working a standard work week (40-hour work week)
- Work a minimum of two days per week in the office

**Tâches / responsabilités spécifiques**:

- Préparer l'analyse financière hebdomadaire pour les responsables opérationnels
- Préparer l'analyse financière mensuelle pour les dirigeants de l'entreprise
- Soutenir les processus de planification et de budgétisation annuels
- Présenter aux équipes financières et opérationnelles des recommandations fondées sur des données.
- participer à la modélisation et aux prévisions financières
- Participer à l'analyse statistique, à l'établissement de rapports et à d'autres projets, selon les besoins.
- Établir des rapports ad hoc selon les besoins (tendances des ventes, analyse des menus, etc.)

Profil:

- Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est un atout.
- Solides compétences en matière d'analyse, de négociation et de résolution de problèmes.
- Esprit d'équipe, tout en étant autonome.
- Adaptabilité, r
