**Mission**
Due to our continuing growth in our municipal infrastructure group, we have an immediate opening for a Contract Administrator working east of the Greater Toronto Area. You will have the opportunity to provide support for a multitude of engineering disciplines including transportation, water, wastewater, and buildings. You will also be working on a variety of infrastructure projects including municipal road construction, water supply and distribution, and waste and stormwater collection.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Management of inspection services and quality assurance, including supervision of site inspector(s)
- Manage the preparation and submission of payment certificates, site reports, and other contract related communications (RFI’s, Change Orders, Claims, etc.)
- Provide conflict resolution and field solutions with respect to unforeseen construction issues
- Attend and lead construction progress meetings
- Liaise with the contractor, client and Municipal officials on project updates and progress, including preparation and issuance of project reports
**Profile**
- Minimum 5 years of contract administration or relevant experience in municipal treatment and transmission infrastructure
- Experienced in project planning, risk management, cost management, schedule management and preparation/administration of contract documents and specifications
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- MTO Class ‘G’ driver’s license in good standing and access to a personnel vehicle
- Working knowledge of the Occupation Health and Safety Act and its Regulations, and Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications (OPSS) for Municipal projects
- Demonstrated skills in the use of computer utilizing programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc.)
