**Insurance Service Coordinator**:
We are a well-established Financial Planning firm with multiple advisors working Monday to Friday with office hours of 8:30AM to 5:00PM. No evenings or weekends.
We are looking for a FULL TIME Administrative assistant to coordinate, process and handle our insurance cases.
Please note due to the complex nature of this position, Experience in the insurance industry is a prerequisite. Knowledge of the following components is absolutely vital:
Term insurance, Critical illness insurance, Group plan administration, Health and dental insurance, Permanent insurance, Disability insurance, Accident & Sickness.
Please note this is a support role for the advisors that are in the office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process Insurance products: Term, Permanent, Group, Disability, Accident & Sickness.
- Prepping files + Reports and summaries
- Handle group plan renewals and quotes
- Scanning all paperwork electronically.
- Coordinate with advisors on ongoing projects and tasks
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Experience in processing investments is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English. (French is an asset)
- Strong organizational skills & the ability to prioritize work load.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with others
- Ability to multi task.
- 40+ WPM is a bonus.
- Ability to navigate a computer and have a good skill set of the following software:
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF, CRM software.
- Experience in the Insurance industry required
- LLQP is not required but an asset
- Have used Fund comparison software and Financial Planning software
