Proposal Manager

We are looking for a Proposal Manager to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

The Proposal Manager supports the commercial team by crafting comprehensive and customized proposal responses which highlight our value prop and differentiators to customers and prospects. The result of these efforts will ultimately be a high quality, accurate proposal that is submitted by the deadline and which will contribute to revenue growth. This role will support the commercial team with effective collateral and proposal creation, contributing as a team member to revenue growth.

80% - Proposal Support

Lead deal-specific effort to develop Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for opportunities from both existing clients and prospects. RFPs, RFIs and pre
- or post
- follow-up questions are in scope. Responsible for all aspects of the proposal creation process, including maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and review sessions, editing and formatting response documents, recommending and ensuring bid strategy implementation, and providing process leadership.

5% - Content Management

Work with operational teams to fill in gaps in existing content and ensure provided responses align to Element’s commercial strategy and brand.

15% - Data Science and Enhanced Capabilities

Identify and own process and management of miscellaneous projects that bring substantial value to commercial team inside the proposal realm. These projects can be short term or long term in nature. Initiatives should result in improvements in visibility, process, or outcome for the team or the business. Serve as first point of contact for reps in the field when they need bid, product, or capabilities information, including making suggestions on best course of action. Provide additional support to the Bid Strategy & Commercial Messaging Team to ensure that 100% of proposals are submitted on time, including setup of bids in SharePoint, and data updates in Salesforce. Continually assess for process improvement opportunities and make recommendations as identified.

QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years relevant experience preferred (2 years minimum sales proposal experience), preferably in B2B service environment. Fleet experience a plus. Government bid experience a plus.
- Prior experience with business and/or creative writing
- Experience with presentation software and crafting sales presentations is a plus.
