**Description**:
The Continuing Education department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of LIFESPAN DEVELOPMENT (350-1S1-LA).

This course explores human development stages, the impacts of life transitions, and adaptation processes. Students will learn about various stages of development, factors influencing growth, and indicators of developmental difficulties. Theories of human growth and development will be explored. The course covers life transitions related to physical, sexual, cognitive, social, emotional, and moral development, and personal identity. Additionally, students will examine situational factors affecting adaptation, how individuals interact with their environment, and appropriate adaptation strategies. Through discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, students will gain the skills and knowledge needed to support individuals and families through various developmental stages and life transitions.

**Required Qualifications**:
Must have a minimum of a Master's degree or equivalent in the discipline to be taught and 2 years teaching experience.
Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.
This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.

**Comments**:
This course will be delivered in person from the college campus. Exceptionally, the instructor may be asked to deliver a class online.
