Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.
Basic Employee Responsibilities
Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
**Specific responsibilities include the following**:

- Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
- Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
- Being responsible - on time for work, and take breaks during designated times.
- Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Receive supplies, parts and record movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from their areas
- Package and ship parts to outsource services. Track shipped packages for return
- Communicate received items to its owner. Label materials on receipt to move to production areas
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move received shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, PO’s, Invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment (for receipts coming In and shipments going Out)
- Complete daily shipments and receipts. Hand in all daily completed receipts to Purchasing
- Put away all received parts and supplies within a 24 hour period
- Complete daily housekeeping as per company standard work and 5S policy and maintain a clean and neat work area
- Responsible to restock finished goods inventory (barrels, fittings, plungers) in correct location from manufacturing and purchased parts
- Confer and correspond with supervisor to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
- Order and store shipping/receiving supplies
- Responsible to maintain shipping, receiving and warehouse areas to be clean, tidy and free of hazards. To keep parts, product and documents in defined and designated areas
- Build and monitor packing supply (barrel boxes, part boxes)
- Assist part pickers / shippers as designated by supervisor
- Other duties as required by supervisor

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent, Supply Chain Management experience is an asset
- Strong people management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Experience in a complex and high paced manufacturing environment is an asset
- Proficient with MS Office, Windows, and ERP systems an asset
- Must be highly self-motivated

Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Receiver may need to adapt to multi-temperature work environments
- Receivers may sit and process orders, receipts, fill out forms, and use the computer
- Stand, drive, walk, bend and stop to load and unload orders, when trying to load or unload trucks quickly, or when other shipping/receiving health and safety considerations demand it
- Pushing, pulling, bending, some twisting in the movement of goods and material
- Awkward positions
