As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented beautifully.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and payment processing.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards to ensure the health and safety of customers.

**Experience**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is beneficial.
- Experience with cashiering or operating POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 24 per week
