**Hours**: Hours per week may range from 10 - 20 hours per week with the potential for more hours as needed.

We are actively looking for a high-energy and customer-focused Budtender to work in our Station House Farmgate Retail Store located in St. Thomas, Ontario.

As a Budtender your accountable for engaging with our customers, understanding their cannabis needs, and assisting them with their product of choice. Responsibilities will include day to day management and administration of the retail store including:

- Providing an excellent customer service experience for customers by building relationships and appropriately determining needs
- Educate customers on cannabis brands, products, and responsible consumption practices
- Process customer transactions and orders
- Independently complete the store opening/closing procedure
- Manage point of sale (POS) system and cannabis complaint POS system
- Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19 by reviewing government issued photo identification
- Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists etc.)
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store at all times
- Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial, and municipal legislation
- Complete tasks as assigned by the Retail Store Manager

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply
- Valid AGCO CannSell Certification is considered an asset
- Minimum 1-2 years in a customer service-oriented role, experience in the cannabis industry an asset, however not required
- Clear passion for and solid understanding of cannabis and cannabis-based products
- Must have proficiency using MS Office Suite, knowledge of additional platforms such as COVA and Dutchie are an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be able to submit a cleared criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work
