**WHAT THE ROLE IS ALL ABOUT**

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Water and Sewer Foreman is responsible to oversee all work related to installation, repair, and maintenance of pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. The Water & Sewer Foreman will be directly responsible for safety, production, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This position will be working on a rotational basis, in a remote camp setting, where all accommodations and flights will be provided.

**ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS WE NEED FROM YOU**
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system consisting of mains, valves, hydrants, reservoirs, and service pipes
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, sewer lines, drains, and appurtenances
- Schedule and assign tasks based on project requirements and needs
- Supervise, lead, and mentor the water and sewer crew on a daily basis
- Daily communications with the General Foreman and Site Superintendents regarding project updates
- Ensure crew member’s quality of work meets specifications and project requirements
- Conduct hazard assessments and communicate all findings with the crew immediately
- Evaluate the site environment and communicate potential improvements and concerns in a timely manner

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU BE A POSITIVE IMPACT?**
- Minimum 5+ years of supervising Water and Sewer Projects experience is required.
- Pipe fusing and/or pipelayer certification will be considered an asset.
- OWMS certification or willing to get certified will be required.
- Heat trace experience will be required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings is required.
- Train-the-Trainer and other supervisory training will be considered an asset.
- Critical thinking and effective decision-making skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written as well as electronically.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must always keep safety a top priority.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening as well as a criminal background check.
