**Title: Automotive Damage Appraiser /** **Estimator / Service Advisor**

**Body Shop Estimator or Mechanical Service Advisor**

This position is for a person who has an appreciation for cars and is eager to become an expert damage evaluator/appraiser or mechanical service advisor. This position requires an above average computer skill level.

Greet customers in a positive and energetic manner.
Learn and understand the claims processes and the Direct Repair Procedures for each DRP insurance agreement.
Sell the services and value that CARSTAR provides by explaining the advantages of using CARSTAR.
Create repair estimates according to industry standards and the manufacturer’s specifications, while achieving company’s profit benchmarks.
Create repair estimates using Audatex or Mitchell.
Comply with various insurance Direct Repair Programs.
Manage the repair process using management software.
Keep customer and insurance partners informed of statuses.
Examine repairs for final inspection.
Comply with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly duties.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow safety guidelines.
Adhere to TOP QUALITY requirements.
Work as a team member.

**Position Requirements**:
Knowledge of car parts will help.
Have and must maintain a driver’s license.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalence.
Must be able to learn computer programs quickly and possess an above average computer skill level.

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
