Delivery Coordinator

We are a busy Architectural Millwork shop seeking a Delivery Coordinator to handle all facets of our deliveries.
A motivated individual that can learn quickly may find themselves in an excellent position to learn additional millwork related skills after demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities would include:
- Moving millwork to the staging area and sorting by delivery, referring to shipping manifests.
- Checking for labels and obvious defects.
- Scanning Labels during the staging and loading processes.
- Delivering millwork and picking up materials (Must have a valid BC drivers’ licence).
- Lifting and loading/unloading by hand involved in the above.
- Oversee the loading of deliveries performed by outside delivery companies.
- Be open to and capable of taking forklift certification course.
- Current forklift certification would be an asset.
- Receiving occasional materials orders.
- Follow instructions from Shop Foreman/Journeymen.
- Follow shop policies and procedures.
- Assist wherever needed.

Starting wage $22 - $25 an hour, depending on experience.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
