**Nail Technician Job Description**

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences for nail care.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere and addressing client inquiries or concerns.
- Promote retail products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty services to provide clients with innovative options.

**Requirements**:

- Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in nail care and related services.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Ability to perform body waxing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of retail sales practices and upselling techniques is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
