**About the Position**:
The Community Liaison Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic community and business partnerships among regulatory associations, sector associations, immigrant service organizations, education institutions, municipal governments, employers, and other key stakeholders.
This role also
helps create meaningful pathways for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs)
to integrate into the labour market by providing subsidized Canadian work experience opportunities.

**Reports to**: Senior Program Manager

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Establishes and maintains a national network of health service providers and facilitates quarterly online meetings
to share best practices, align strategies, and strengthen collaborations across Canada.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive outreach strategy plan to promote the ACCEP-IEHP program across diverse healthcare communities, including regulatory associations, sector associations, immigrant service organizations, education institutions, municipal governments, employers, and other key stakeholders.
- Organizes and facilitates
targeted outreach initiatives such as community events, informational sessions, and networking forums, which are designed to engage and support IEHPs.
- Identifies and recruits healthcare employers to host IEHPs in subsidized work experience roles, and monitors subsidy utilization, placement outcomes, and employer satisfaction to ensure accountability and measurable impact.
- Leverages digital platforms, community media, and healthcare networks to enhance the visibility and reach of the ACCEP-IEHP program.
- Creates culturally responsive promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters
, and social media campaigns to engage IEHPs with key stakeholders.
- Collects and analyzes feedback from IEHPs and key stakeholders
through surveys, focus groups, interviews, and consultation sessions to promote continuous program improvement.
- Maintains
timely and
accurate records of outreach activities, participant interactions, stakeholder meetings, and engagement outcomes.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.

**Education, Training and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent,
in Social Work, Public Health, Human Resources, Community Development, Health Administration, Marketing,
or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in community outreach and stakeholder engagement, immigrant services, employment support, case management, healthcare sector navigation or support services
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including internationally educated professionals
- Experience developing outreach strategy plans and promotional campaigns across diverse platforms
- Experience in network-building, stakeholder convening, and facilitating virtual meetings or communities of practice
- Experience developing promotional materials, newsletters, digital content, and social media campaigns tailored to multicultural audiences and community networks

**Job Skills and Abilities**:

- An understanding of the barriers faced by IEHPs would be considered as an asset
- Familiarity with Canadian healthcare systems, regulatory bodies, and IEHP employment pathways
- Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with IEHPs, healthcare employers, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.
- Skilled in navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and fostering collaboration across sectors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
- Resourceful and solution-oriented, with the ability to respond effectively to emerging challenges and community needs
- Proficient in using digital platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Canva, Mailchimp, Eventbrite)
