Luna Metal Works is currently looking for a Shipper-Receiver/Labourer to begin work immediately.

Luna Metal Works is a Saskatoon based company and was established in 1960. In 2019, Luna has expanded and is now affiliated with the Baydo Group of Companies. This new structure has given our firm more experience on large scale commercial projects.

Wages will be based on experience.

Job description [but not limited to]:

- Responsible for yard/shop clean-up
- Load/unload material from pallets or racks and transfer between yard/shop
- Assist coworkers with other duties as needed
- Assemble, package and load orders onto truck and trailer for shipping
- Deliver customer orders to job sites as required
- Shop errands [pickups, deliveries]
- Experience with industrial painting a definite asset
- Industrial spray painting; must be able to clean/wash, prep, prime/paint structural steel or misc. metals with direction and mínimal supervision
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools [grinder, scraper, etc.]
- Able to communicate well, good time management, and organized
- Working environment - outdoor/indoor work
- Knows how to do quality control for their own work
- Able to manage all materials and consumables well
- Stand for 8 hrs. in a shift
- General housekeeping duties
- Material handling & other tasks within the shop

Skills that would be an asset:

- Work experience in a welding environment
- Forklift experience
- Overhead Crane experience
- Able to work weekends, when necessary, flexible schedule

**Salary**: $14.40-$23.17 per hour

**Experience**:

- yard Labourer: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
