The incumbent will contribute to the efficient operation of the team and supporting GRS Admin through the completion of various control tasks and coordination efforts.
Reporting to the Associate Manager, GRS Audit & Controls, you will work closely with Plan Sponsor Services Compliance, GRS Audit, GRS Administration teams and other internal business partners, as set out in the following accountabilities.
**What you will do**
- Schedule and complete various internal controls required for GRS Administration, completed by running reports, manipulating data in excel spreadsheets and communicating results to various audiences.
- Identify and escalate changes in control results.
- Create and maintain templates used to communicate control results (e.g. Outlook, Excel).
- Monitor Outlook mailboxes and distribute queries to appropriate areas for action.
- General maintenance of mailbox.
- Provide administrative support to team as needed. Examples: complete electronic filings, query tracking, collect supporting material for various audit reviews as requested, etc..
- Maintain general team performance reporting and tracking
**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated strong organizational capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities and fluctuating workloads, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Ability to instill quality and efficiency in day-to-day activities/processes ensuring that reports are completed according to schedule, distributed, properly formatted, clear and easy to consume by the recipient
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Positive attitude and desire to be part of a cohesive and collaborative team
- Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and recommend and support change
- Intermediate knowledge and proven experience with Microsoft office including the following:
- Excel - manipulate data, work with intermediate formulas, create and work with macros
- Word - formatting
- Outlook - creating templates, organization and folder maintenance
- Knowledge of group retirement products, systems and processes and JIRA is an asset
