**Financial Controller**
Reporting to the Vice President, the Financial Controller's overall role on the team will be to assist the management team with creation and preparation of various reports, assist in establishing internal controls, and work with all team members to optimize business growth.
Project Management, an advanced Excel knowledge and a proven ability to multi-task within an evolving environment is an asset. In addition to the above tasks, the Financial Controller must have a high attention to detail and strong math skills. The Financial Controller will be required to complete various other finance related duties as needed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare monthly financial statements & reconciliations
- Administrator of company ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Coordinating and performing Inventory counts
- Lead meetings and presentations of financial results with various departments
- Complete monthly forecasts
- Prepare monthly KPI reports
- Review monthly balance sheet, income statement, changes in financial position, variance analysis, and report to financial management team
- Prepare monthly journal entries (including prepaid, fixed assets, amortization, payroll, etc.)
- Create visual reports & dashboards to improve management understanding of financial and operational data
- Prepare payroll and ensure accuracy before each payroll run
- Prepare various CRA sales/HST tax reporting and filing
- Provide back up support when needed for basic processes across AR/AP/Cash Management
- Various finance duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with all organization team members
**Requirements**:
- Accounting related degree or diploma
- Completion or partial completion of CPA designation
- Full-cycle accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Collaborates and works well with team members
- Advanced Excel knowledge (advanced formulas, pivot tables & charts, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
Remuneration based on experience.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
