Instrumentation Technician

We have an opening for a full time **Instrumentation Technician **based out of our **Edmonton South** Branch. This position will be responsible for supporting our Aftermarket and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Valve business by performing basic instrumentation task while disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing/reconditioning all on-site valves. This position will report to the Aftermarket PRV Manager - Edmonton.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair/recondition all on-site valves
- Perform basic instrumentation tasks
- Reassemble and paint valves as required
- Complete actuation teardown and assembly
- Complete all documentation required during the repair/recondition process
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Data entry and sourcing information as required
- Promotes a safe culture, which includes attending all safety meetings
- Ensures quality by following standard work instructions, where applicable, and identifying any potential risks to product quality
- Ensure the work area remains clean and well organized
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a service technician role focused on instrumentation and measurement principles
- Technical diploma in instrumentation from a recognized post secondary institution
- Alberta Class 5 Operator's Licence or equivalent in good standing
- Good organizational and communication (spoken and written) skills in English is a must
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and technical writing
- Ability to travel out-of-town and perform on-call work
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
