Leadership- Develop and implement a marketing and sales plan to achieve the financing and advisory services strategy in the assigned region- Participate in BDC's positioning as a leading business development organization by developing and implementing strategies for all Atlantic provinces aligned with the regional strategy- Establish and maintain relationships in professional, financial, and business circles, with suppliers and colleagues (or counterparts) of other organizations, to stay abreast of emerging trends and their relevance to BDC's needs- Ensure compliance with rules, policies, and business procedures in all aspects of a loan life (business development, drafting, collateral taking and disbursements, administration, and relationships)

Market- Optimize productivity by ensuring the proper allocation of resources to acquire new customer relationships and lead the Business Activity Management exercise for teams- Develop and implement tactical initiatives to help clients grow by adding value by providing additional knowledge, advice, and funding, ensuring that retention and retention objectives are optimized, while balancing profitability and risk- Plan and organize visibility efforts to improve and maximize BDC's market presence- Work closely with Growth and Transition Capital to identify companies with significant growth potential and opportunities for BDC to meet their needs

Human resources- Develop and implement a strategy to meet organizational and client needs through talent management, employee engagement, total compensation, learning and development, and career and performance management- Develop and maintain an effective communication channel to ensure the timely dissemination of information, the implementation of projects and initiatives, and the achievement of objectives- Guide and lead the strategy of change by supporting BDC's projects, processes, and directions for service delivery in the assigned territory

Results, benefits and risk- Control key variables for the effective delivery of funding and advisory services across the territory and ensure the achievement of objectives- Lead and assume accountability for the profitability of the portfolio and advisory services by acting on the levers of fees, interest rates and efficiency targets, through sound productivity and expense management- Ensure sound risk management through a balance of efforts related to the acquisition of new loans, loan origination, due diligence and risk reduction and ensure the risk management of the existing loan portfolio

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration- 15 years of relevant experience- Strong thinking skills and strategic implementation- Strong communication skills and positive influence- Strong analytical capacity- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Superior organizational/time management and proactivity capabilities- Bilingualism (French and English)
