We have an interesting opportunity for an ambitious** VP Business Development **to join our company. Reporting to the Head of Markets, the VP Business Development at our company will be responsible for overseeing the overall day to day business operations strategy as this is critical for our growth and overall success. The VP Business Development will be a key member of our team as we continue to scale up.

This role would be ideally suited for a crypto-savvy individual able to self-manage and work independently and remotely, set priorities and efficiently manage day to day processes with a high degree of detail, accuracy, and organization.
**Responsibilities & Expectations**
Based out of our Downtown Toronto office, with the flexibility of remote work, the main responsibilities and expectations for the role are:
**_ Key Responsibilities_**:
- Interface with other departments as necessary
- Update necessary sales material to optimize outreach
- Leverage existing sales and business development resources and become an active contributor
- Ensure daily tasks are completed on time with top quality
- Create strategy to build out sales lead generators through referrals and associations
- Create and review reports for sales metrics and risk management
- Oversee some of the daily operations of trading business functions to ensure they align with core business objectives as well as maintain strong internal controls
**Required Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in a related role
- Education in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to working as a SME
- A roll up the sleeves, get it done mindset
- Experience leading projects
- Mature, professional, driven, and well grounded professional
- Well organized and detailed oriented
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in blockchain or crypto industry is an asset
- Start up experience is preferred
- Entrepreneurial background
