When you join the Landscape Team you will be part of a team that maintains landscape
throughout Homeowner Properties, Businesses, Common Lands such as trails, Blvd., lavender
field, all resort annual flowers & gardens as well as landscape renovation work. Must enjoy
the outdoors and working in a variety of weather conditions.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Reporting to the Irrigation Supervisor, this position ensures exceptional conditions are
maintained for all residential properties and resort common areas in a safe and efficient
manner.
- Daily monitoring of all residential and common area irrigation systems.
- Daily moisture checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Irrigation systems.
- Startup irrigation systems in spring.
- Winterize irrigation systems in fall.
- Irrigation controller programming.
- Hand water where and when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and current records of all repairs, maintenance and/or potential
- areas of concern.- Assist with all irrigation projects and installations.
- Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc.
- Assist with cleaning of the maintenance shop and other projects.
- Participate in a safe work culture.
- Report concerns and safety hazards to supervisor.
- Assist the landscape maintenance team on various gardening jobs or other jobs

assigned by the Landscape Manager.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience with residential irrigation working with an IIABC

contractor or Level 2 Irrigation tech through IIABC (any other IA certificates an asset).
- Experience with residential & commercial landscape maintenance.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license and documented driver’s abstract/record.
- High school grad or equivalent educational experience.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction.
- Must be able to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment.
- Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds for extended periods of
- time.- WHMIS

COMPENSATION:

- $18 - $25 per hour depending on experience
