**Position Overview**

**What you'll do here**
- Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to ensure accurate cuts.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize cutting quality and efficiency.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.

**What you bring to the team**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, G-code, and machine controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting software (e.g., Pronest, AutoCAD, SheetCAM, or similar).
- Experience with material handling and metal fabrication processes.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

**Preferred**:

- Certification in CNC operation or welding/fabrication.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication shop environment.
