**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with setting-up, coordinating, overseeing, and running promotional and sponsored events that Royal Distributing hosts or attends
- Create, implement, and enforce standards for product descriptions and website content
- Write product descriptions for new and current products, promotional ads, and landing page content for the website
- Research and suggest improvements aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing efforts and present them to the marketing team for consideration
- Identify opportunities for company involvement in tradeshows, athlete sponsorships, and brand ambassador partnerships
- Assist with the production of video shoots for the company YouTube channel and social media pages
- Assist with managing and coordinating the production of semi-annual product catalogues
- Manage and maintain documentation related to marketing processes and account credentials
- Act as a key contributor for cross-functional projects, working with departments including customer support, purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations, retail operations, graphic design and IT
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications**
- University or College level education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related area of study
- Intermediate level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with MailChimp is preferred
- Previous experience working in marketing or advertising
- Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Team player with strong ability to meet deadlines
- Able to produce deliverables both quickly and accurately
- Excellent written and verbal skills

**Additional Information**
- This role reports to the Marketing Lead
- This is a full-time contract position for 6 months, with potential to move to a permanent position.
- This position may operate under flexible work hours and partial remote work arrangements following completion of the training period
