**Job Description**:
**AECOM Canada Nuclear** **Operations** is seeking a Nuclear Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
**Job Summary**:
Is responsible for supporting the Nuclear Quality Manager in the implementation and continuous improvement of the overall Nuclear Quality Management System. These duties include but are not limited to: preparing & implementing quality assurance policies & procedures, performing regular quality audits & assessments, identifying product & process issues, proposing solutions, implementing the nonconformance process through records and tracking systems, and performing cause analysis and corrective actions.
We are looking for an individual with construction site experience able to work 3 days a week at the CNL client site near Ottawa.
**Major Responsibilities**:
Support Nuclear Quality Manager in the execution of the Quality Assurance Program. Position responsibilities include:
- Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Assurance Manuals and Procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards
- Assist in Nuclear QA Indoctrination Training.
- Review Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP) and other Project Plans, as needed
- Prepare and implement the project inspection/assessment strategy to cover all project phases
- Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive actions are proposed/implemented and are closed out in a timely manner; assist in trending and analyzing quality data
- Liaise with client and contractor quality representatives, to ensure that all quality issues are resolved.
- Interface and coordinate with clients, contractors, and inspection & testing agencies on QC matters; oversee related inspection & testing activities for quality and conformance to deliverable requirements
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
The skills and knowledge to execute this role are usually acquired through a University Degree and 6+ years of experience in QA/QC roles in the nuclear industry.
**Preferred Requirements**:
- Demonstrated history in reviewing and controlling Quality documents
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in External & Internal Quality Audits
- Demonstrated good analytical skills and familiarity with quality tools and methodologies - RCA
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for inspection, testing, quality control and defect management
- The individual would possess good written and verbal skills

- Offered rate of compensation in Markham will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
