We are currently looking for a **Quality Assurance Specialist (18 month term)** with experience in Validation and/or New Product Implementation for our Kanata, ON location.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all performance targets and regulatory obligations to support compliance and reliability of operations and manufactured products are met.
- The QA Specialist will perform review of critical project documentation including validation protocols, standard operating procedures, user requirements, design reviews and providing GMP guidance to research and development.
- This position is classified as a Nuclear Energy Worker.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Normally BSc degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years work experience in quality assurance, preferably from a pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Experience in validation and/or new product implementation.
- Excellent judgment and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Other key skills include: organizational, analytical and leadership skills (ability to lead with influence).

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
