**You, as a Maintenance Planner at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, will be**:

- Develop maintenance plans and set maintenance schedules in support of Maintenance and Engineering Teams requirements and available capacity.
- Manage the CMMS with regards to the timely completion of workorders (PPMS, Demand Tasks, etc.), Asset Management, and the scheduling of tasks.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to perform required services.
- Prioritize work orders based on asset criticality, urgency, and resource availability.
- Prepare detailed job plans, including labor, materials, tools, and special equipment required.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure necessary materials, tools, and spare parts are available for planned maintenance tasks.
- Optimize inventory management to prevent downtime due to stockouts.
- Review all contractor and internal service reports and provide relevant feedback to Plant Operations team. Assist in approval of quotes and recommended services
- Meet with vendors and procurement team on a regular basis to review contract deliverables
- Coordinate with client for approval on all planned works
- Expedite and complete routine past due work orders follow up to support the Maintenance schedule
- Generate work orders using CMMS
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, KPIs, work order completion, and equipment reliability.
- Analyze data to identify trends, improve preventive maintenance practices, and enhance asset performance.
- Ensure that maintenance plans adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the safety team to ensure all maintenance activities include appropriate safety measures.
- Have regular interactions with functional department staff heads and other internal stakeholders, as well as external relationships with suppliers, customers and other EllisDon employees as required
- Consults with manager when making decisions regarding complex or unusual circumstances

**Is this the right role for you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related Facilities Management field preferred; or equivalent technical experience.
- You have working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- An APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), SCMP designation, or similar designation is a strong asset.
- 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance planning role within large facilities
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Access, etc.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and principles and working knowledge of Maintenance management preferred
- Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and materials may be required.
