**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Manage accounts receivable functions related to payroll deductions and contributions.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage 300 and ADP for payroll processing and reporting.
- Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll metrics and trends.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 300, ADP) and HRIS systems
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
