**Position: Machine Bindery Operator (Large Format)**
**Type: Full Time Permanent**
**Location: Calgary, AB**

The position is Monday to Friday on afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm) and may require flexibility for shift changes when required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Read and understand department job ticket information
- Operate and maintain large format laminators, vinyl plotters, cutting and mounting systems
- Follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by work orders and supervisors
- Troubleshoot and correct problems during the finishing process as they arise
- Manual trimming of various products to finished size
- Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, count, and sizes
- Audit and package finished product for safe delivery to end user and clients
- Maintain and safely use all large format finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting and packaging
- Follow all protocols for safe working conditions in the facility, such as machinery, chemicals and materials used

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of print industry experience in Large Format Finishing
- Capable of regularly lifting 40lbs or more
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- General computer and math skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Able to multitask well, remain organized, and handle many projects at once
- Willingness to be a cross-functional employee that can work with multiple teams within the organization
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management and/or the production team
