**Quality Assurance Specialist**

Location - Mississauga, ON

**Your role within the team**:

- The Quality Assurance Professional reports to the project Quality Assurance Manager. Working in a team environment, she/he participates in:_
- Reviewing project management/engineering documents to ensure QA requirements are adequately identified and applicable procedures are followed.
- Assisting project staff with their QA inquiries.
- Providing support to the Non-Conformance and Corrective Action processes - maintaining a database of non-conformances and opportunities to improve.
- Maintaining regular reporting on quality performance; trending issues.
- Conducting audits and self-assessments and identifying conditions adverse to quality and opportunities for improvement.
- Participating in cause analysis when assigned.Other tasks as assigned by the project QA Manager.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or Science, Familiarity with nuclear standards is an asset.

- Advanced computing skills and functionality with standard Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
