If so, Collicutt Energy Services wants to hear from you. We’re seeking driven and experienced technicians to join our Grande Prairie team, with a focus on FRAC equipment repair and maintenance. This role combines both field service and shop-based work, offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on some of the most demanding and advanced equipment in the energy sector.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician at Collicutt, you are responsible for performing detailed 500-hour inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal operation of heavy machinery. You expertly diagnose and service hydraulic systems, including hose replacements, fluid end components, filters, and engine cooling system flushes and replacements. Your role involves replacing critical engine components such as seals, turbochargers, cylinder heads, and injector packs, as well as major assemblies like transmissions, engines, and radiator bundles. You execute thorough pre
- and post-repair testing and troubleshoot complex diesel and dual-fuel engine systems to maintain peak equipment performance.

You maintain professional client relationships by promptly addressing their needs and concerns, while fostering a collaborative team environment by supporting fellow technicians. Flexibility to work overtime and handle additional duties ensures the team meets operational demands and maintains Collicutt’s high standards of service excellence.

**Schedule**: This position operates on a rotational schedule of **15/6 or 15/13**.

**What You Bring**

**Required**:

- Journeyperson Certification - Heavy Equipment Technician
- 5-10 years of experience in heavy duty repair, with strong background in:

- Hydraulic system diagnostics and repair
- Tractor/trailer maintenance
- Use of OEM diagnostic tools (CAT ET, SIS, Cummins Insite, etc.)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract and reliable transportation
- High attention to detail and initiative
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Strong customer service mindset and team orientation

**Preferred**:

- Experience with FRAC equipment (e.g., CAT 3512, TH55/TH48, Cummins QSK50, Detroit 60, MTU engines) is an asset. FRAC-specific experience is not required, we are willing to train experienced technicians
- CVIP License

**Working Conditions**:

- This role involves work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Work may be performed at the company’s own facility as well as at customer sites
