Silgan Plastics est actuellement à la recherche d’un Emballeur pour la site de Montréal. La personne choisie sera responsable d’inspecter visuellement les pièces à son poste de machine désigné et de les emballer selon les normes de qualité. Ce rôle garantit que seuls les produits conformes sont expédiés et que toute la documentation et les procédures d’emballage sont suivies avec précision.

Responsabilités principales:

- Effectuer des inspections visuelles des pièces moulées à chaque heure.
- Remplir avec précision les fiches d’attributs en fonction des résultats de l’inspection.
- Signaler immédiatement tout défaut visuel au chef d’équipe ou au technicien assurance qualité.
- Apposer la date et le numéro d’opérateur sur toutes les étiquettes de boîtes et les codes-barres de palettes.
- Vérifier l’exactitude des étiquettes et des codes-barres à l’aide de la fiche technique de la machine.
- Tenir un registre quotidien du nombre de boîtes ou de palettes produites.
- Rapporter les chiffres de production au chef de quart à la fin du quart de travail.
- Maintenir une zone de travail propre et organisée pendant et après le quart.
- Signaler toute condition dangereuse au chef d’équipe pour correction.

Qualifications:

- Excellente attention aux détails et capacité à identifier les défauts de produit.
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à suivre les consignes de production.
- Compétences de base en tenue de registres et en communication.
- Une expérience en environnement manufacturier ou de production est un atout, mais non requise.

Silgan Plastics is currently looking for a Packer at our Montreal location who will be responsible for visually inspecting parts at their designated machine station and packing them according to quality standards. This role ensures that only compliant products are shipped and that all packing documentation and processes are accurately followed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform hourly visual inspections of molded parts.
- Accurately complete attribute sheets based on inspection results.
- Report any visual defects to the Pack Leader or QA Technician immediately. Stamp the date and operator number on all box labels and skid barcodes.
- Verify the use of correct box labels and barcodes using the machine’s specification sheet.
- Keep a daily record of the number of boxes or pallets produced.
- Report total production numbers to the Shift Leader at the end of the shift. Maintain a clean and organized machine area throughout and at the end of each shift.
- Report any unsafe conditions to the Pack Leader for resolution.

Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
- Able to work independently and adhere to production instructions.
- Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset but not required.
