**Job Overview**:
Join our team as a Support Worker where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various daily activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients.

**Duties**:

- Provide meal preparation and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Offer dementia care and support to individuals with memory impairments
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Assist in nursing home settings with daily tasks and activities
- Engage in heavy lifting when necessary to aid clients with mobility
- Provide hospice care and emotional support to patients and families
- Perform caregiving duties with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for optimal client comfort
- Offer senior care services tailored to individual needs in home care settings

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of senior care practices and protocols
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the role
- Experience in providing dementia care is a plus

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- PSW Certificate preferred

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
