TNT - The New Trend, a designer fashion retailer based in Toronto, is currently looking for a fashionable & detail-oriented individual to assist their buying department. As our Buying Administrator, you will be working closely with the Head Buyer and Buying Team to help with all things buying-related.
**As our Buying Assistant, you will**:
- Assist with order entry, replenishments & organization with buying
- Communicate and submit purchase orders directly to vendors/brands
- Receive and organize all information from vendors/brands
- Cross-reference order confirmations, invoices, purchase orders
- Organize images of all buys placed for future seasons
- Assist with buying strategies for future seasons
- Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through communication with vendors, distribution centre, and internal team
**Qualifications**:
- Graduated from a Fashion Communications, Marketing, Retail, Merchandising Program, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be good with numbers and accuracy
- Must have a strong knowledge and curiosity for fashion
- Must have a good understanding of aesthetic and branding
- Organized and extremely detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines
- Able to manage a diverse workload, learn and adapt quickly
**Details**:
- This role is a full time position
- Benefits package eligible
- You will be based in our head office at 1020 Lawrence Avenue W but will sometimes work out of our other locations i.e. Yorkville (87 Avenue Rd) and Eglinton (388 Eglinton Avenue W)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M6A 1C8
