As a Crew Leader for Snow Removal, you will be responsible for managing daily snow removal operations, ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and safely, and providing high-quality service to our clients. You will be an important part of our team, leading by example and maintaining a positive, proactive environment for your crew.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of snow removal workers to ensure effective and timely completion of snow clearing tasks.
- Operate and maintain snow removal equipment including snow plows, skid steers, shovels, and salt spreaders.
- Drive trucks and operate trailers to transport equipment and materials to various job sites.
- Organize and assign daily tasks to crew members based on priority and location.
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to by the team during operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and report on snow conditions and weather forecasts to adjust the plan accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or requests related to snow removal services.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, equipment used, and completed jobs.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to crew members.
- Assist in snow removal activities as needed, including shoveling, salting, and plowing.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of snow removal equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a snow removal crew.
- Proven ability to drive trucks and operate trailers, with a valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 or higher is an asset).
- Experience with snow removal equipment (e.g. blowers, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and during early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed.
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in landscaping or snow removal operations in Edmonton is highly desirable.
