**Who we need**

Right now, we’re looking to add a Vac Forming Machine Operator to our team, working the continental shift from 7 am to 7 pm - Sun, Mon and Tues, and every other Wednesday. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks to the machines before starting your shift (check oil, water) and report to the coordinator if any additional maintenance is required. You will follow the required Vacform's job sheet, run production, Vacforming, die cutting and packing.

**You will focus on**:

- Documents production by filling hour by hour boards.
- Filling out cycle time sheets from the machines.
- Ensuring first off is obtained prior to production.
- Loading production material into the machines.
- Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measuring workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Assisting other machine operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport workpieces.
- Performing all the above responsibilities in accordance with Company Safety, Quality, and Production Standards.
- Accountable to follow all policies and procedures defined in the company quality system.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting to work on time and follow the call in procedure.
- Reporting any Health and Safety issues to your department manager immediately.
- Daily routine housekeeping of your work area.
- Complying with SOP, policies & procedures.
- Conducting all work duties as per the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and policies of Array Canada.
- Performing any other reasonable assignments given by your Department Management or his/her designates.

**You have**:

- The experience. You are familiar with a warehouse or production environment. You are mechanically inclined and are able to learn a variety of equipment functions.
- The interpersonal skills. You have flexible and effective communication skills and are able to follow written instructions.
- The flexibility. You can work from 7 am-7 pm, including weekends.
