Spa Receptionist

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Strong communications and attention to detail with an optimistic character approach.
- Achieve quality booking, consultation and transaction experience in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to maximize revenues by analyzing the daily bookings and coordinating schedules to best fit the client as well as availability in the spa calendar.
- Ensure smooth functionality of front desk traffic by warmly greeting incoming guests and booking return visits upon departure.
- Deliver point of sale marketing and retail product conversion.
- Carry out special assignments to resolve customer issues with confidence and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of spa supplies, retail products and stock of all reception and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Spa Director in preparation of marketing events and advertising.
- Ensure the reception department advocates a positive relationship with all estheticians and liaison with clients.
- Ensure the spa reception area is in high performance condition at all times (operations and cleanliness)
- Consistently guarantee client satisfaction by securing the safety and attentiveness of the guests needs as the spa's first priority.
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays until 3pm.
- Produce EOD procedural reports such as executing the systems close-out process and spa housekeeping duties.
- Awareness of frequent supplier deliveries and updating stock and pricing accurately in our systems.
- Educate guests on new services and promotional recommendations.
- Currently hold a SMART Serve certificate or willing to acquire the credentials in order to offer beverages to our guests.
- Receptionist will report to the Spa Manager/Supervisor on duty.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- May require lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in implementing spa services.
