**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Review and account for various financial records, ensuring appropriate accounting
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial and tax reporting activities
- Assist with assurance, review and compilation engagements
- Assist with tax filings
- Performing additional job-related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- University or college degree in a related field
- Experience working as part of an accounting firm
- Understanding of standard accounting procedures
- Proficiency with basic productivity software (Word, Excel etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Experience with various accounting and tax software programs would be an asset

- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn
- Contributes positively to a team environment, but able to work independently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

**Salary**: $47,000.00-$58,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON L4K 2Y4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
