Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Bookkeeper / File Technician located in Vaughan, Ontario. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to bookkeeping and file preparation. The right candidate will have bookkeeping experience and familiarity with accounting software (Caseware, Profile, QuickBooks and MS Office) in order to prepare compilation engagements, review and audit files.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, hard-working individual who is passionate about what they do. Additional qualifications include:

  • 2-5 years of bookkeeping experience;
  • College diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or enrolled in the CPA program
  • Skilled in communication (verbal and written), organization skills, client service, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills;
  • Candidate must be comfortable in a technology dependent environment including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proficiency with Caseware, Profile and QuickBooks is an asset;
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, Being attentive to detail is a must;
  • Accounting firm experience min of 1 year required;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting or related field

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
