**Electrical Test Technician**

Our cutting-edge technologies and solutions are trusted by military and commercial customers worldwide. We are currently seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our Ottawa based team

**What will you be doing?**
- Electrical Testing: Conduct rigorous electrical testing and inspection of aerospace components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the reliability and performance of electrical systems in MMIST’s products.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, procedures, and equipment calibration, following established documentation standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to provide technical expertise, resolve electrical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on test equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing procedures and equipment, and actively participate in their implementation.

**What do we need from you?**
- Proven experience as an Electrical Test Technician ideally in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing methods, equipment, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and interpreting schematics.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2000 and/or AS9100 would be an asset
