**Position Overview**:
We are looking to hire experienced Permanent Full-Time Site Supervisor (s) (Electrician) within our commercial Special Projects Division (SPD). The successful applicant(s) must be able to always execute tasks with safety and efficiency while using the tools of the trade; have an ability to read and understand site-specific plans; properly handle/order onsite job materials, stay orderly, keep track and records of all time/materials. This role also requires the applicants to be eager in other aspects of the job including assisting the General Contractor with day-to-day duties, keeping a company issued work van tidy and stocked complete with tools, safety equipment, and materials for most day-to-day activities.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong abilities in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Installation of electrical distribution, lighting, and low voltage equipment
- Must be able to terminate and test network cables
- Experienced in raceway installations, inclusive of EMT, Rigid, and most cable types.
- Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installed components
- Extensive knowledge of the CEC
- Ability to maintain a “Let’s get to work” attitude
- Able to stay neat and organized in all aspects of installations
- Basic computer skills

**Education, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Site Leadership Experience - Asset
- Red Seal Journeyman Ticket (required)
- o This is a union position. If not already part of the union, Applicants must be willing to register with IBEW prior to commencing work_
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Arrest and OFA Level 1 are considered an asset

**Working with FMI’s Special Projects Division**:

- We provide LOA, travel and accommodations for out-of-town work
- Rotational shifts (dependent on current jobs): 21 days on/ 7 days off; 14 days on/ 4 days off; 5 days on/ 2 days off

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $48.66 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
