Vancouver, Canada ARDEX Americas Full time

We have an opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career as an entry level **ARCHITECTURAL REPRESENTATIVE**, as part of our **WESTERN CANADA** team (with a focus and home residence of **VANCOUVER**). You will have a 4-year college degree in a business or industry related field, together with familiarity with architectural specifications and construction and/or design elements. In addition, you will have strong research and lead follow up skills, together with an exceptional eye for detail, and good writing skills (specifications).

Approximately 70% of time will be focused on Vancouver. Approximately 30% travel (including some overnight).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with architects and designers, engineers, and end users within assigned territory.
- Schedule appointments and conduct meetings/presentations to various persons or firms with the goal of driving sales opportunities through specification acquisition.
- Identify secure and maintain ARDEX product specifications with architects, specifiers, designers, engineers, and or other end-users.
- Attend, participate and/or work trade shows, training sessions, sales meetings, educational seminars and/or regular meetings for professional associations as suggested and/or approved by Management.
- Utilize lead provision software to identify, communicate, and track project opportunities. Update A4C accordingly and provide a full detailed report on a weekly basis.
- Support the Level Master Elite, Preferred Partner, Choice Contractor network through sales calls, lead distribution and by acting as a liaison for all key project players when required.
- Support the Global Project Services team, Identify GPS project opportunities, report GPS leads into A4C and to GPS regional coordinator.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively, professionally, and proactively with all areas of the business including other fellow territory sales professionals, architectural team, technical team, marketing, and customer support.
- Maintain current and working knowledge of all products.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Some architectural and specifications experience
- Familiar with architectural specifications and construction and/or design elements
- Experience with building products or flooring installation products
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm for the business, customer driven and professional
- Excellent analytical, organizational, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to present confidently in front of large groups
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Team, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet is essential. CRM experience is advantageous.
- Must be able to effectively travel throughout assigned territory, including some overnight travel
- Must possess a current, valid and unexpired driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to undertake periodic travel to the U.S.

**Education**
- Four (4) year college degree in a business or industry related program
