**About the Role**
Sound-rite has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and strong relationship builder who is motivated to generate new prospects for the BC region. Once trained, you will have the knowledge to qualify prospects, prepare and issue proposals, perform follow-ups to inquiries, proposals and close sales. Prior experience in either sales, marketing or office administration would be considered an asset.
**Environment**
Based in Vancouver, this full-time role will offer both in office, along with flexible work from home arrangements.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
- Propose, schedule, and present product presentations and demonstrations.
- Responsible for the entire interior product lineup, with a focus on interior architectural & acoustic products.
- Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
- Utilize the company’s CRM (SAP) daily, scheduling and documenting activities, and developing prospective customer profiles.
- Regularly meet with General Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- Educate strategic partners in the industry about Sound-Rite products and services.
- Review public tenders and assist in bid development.
- Actively pursue the marketing initiatives in your region, including participation in association memberships.
- Prepare proposal letters using Company’s pricing guidelines and one’s judgment.
- Provide complete and accurate information to key stakeholders.
- Provide genuine and informed advice to all clients.
- Travel to client offices & jobsites are a requirement, including out of town trips to the Interior BC & Vancouver Island regions.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Participate in a sales meetings and conference calls as required.
- Stay informed on all product lines & manufacturer sales related programs.
- Communicate ideas on how to further enhance the marketing and sales initiatives to the General Manager and colleagues.
- Constantly strive to better proficiency with internal tools and educate oneself through courses and white papers.
- Continually look for ways and means of improving Sound-Rite’s mode of operation and service to customers and present these ideas in a well documented manner.
**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, office, word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. Post-secondary education in a relevant field considered a strong asset.
- The individual must portray a positive attitude and always maintain their composure.
- Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- The ability to assume responsibility and to be self-motivated.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for changes.
- Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract & means of transportation.
- The ability to handle sensitive customer information with professionalism.
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
