**About the Position**

**Location**: Thornhill, ON

**Job Type**: Part-time (Dental Assistant) / Full-time (Hybrid Dental Assistant & Receptionist)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, trays, and treatment rooms
- Follow proper infection control and sterilization protocols
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
- Maintain accurate patient records using **ABELDent**:

- Provide clear pre
- and post-treatment instructions to patients
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient check-in/out, and handling phone calls when needed
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations

**Qualifications**
- Certified Dental Assistant (Level I or II)
- Current HARP certification
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience with **ABELDent** software (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Approachable and respectful toward patients and colleagues
- Adapts easily between clinical and front-desk roles
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and attention to detail
