Heavy Equipment Lube Technician - Atlantic Road Construction & Paving

**Requirements**:

- Education in Heavy Duty Equipment or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid drivers license, and clean drivers abstract.
- Ability to work flexible hours to complete maintenance when equipment is not in use.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Ability to safely maneuver equipment when required.
- Solid understanding of construction operations and maintenance techniques.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to keep yourself on task & schedule.
- Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Reliable & trustworthy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Service machines as per the schedule or as assigned by supervisor.
- Take oil sample from machine being serviced.
- Grease all machines and top up DEF for all equipment present on the worksite.
- Replace any damaged or seized grease fittings as needed.
- Ensure worksite is clean, free of debris & fluids caused by repairs when leaving.
- Complete service report noting what work was done & any major issues in need of repair.
- Keep work vehicle in clean & tidy condition - free of garbage.
- Stock truck with equipment and supplies required to perform assigned work.
- Ensure proper parts & supply inventory are kept in stock.
- Notify manager if any supplies need to be ordered.
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accident/injuries immediately to the supervisor.
- Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulation, and compliance.
- Other duties as required
