Fort Saskatchewan, Canada Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd Full time

**_Techmation Electric & Controls_** is searching for an **Instrumentation Planner/Scheduler** for our **Fort Saskatchewan **branch**. **We require a dynamic and experienced Instrumentation or Dual-Ticketed Journeyman with previous planning or scheduling experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed planning, scheduling, cost estimation, resources estimation and allocation, progress and performance reporting in complex process plant
- Be involved in routine/forced outages and scope of work creation
- Maintain work orders/notifications to provide integrity of history tracking and maintenance repair costs data
- Provide input and continuous improvement of the maintenance, planning, scheduling and data integrity processes and standards
- Participate in the development of the E&I maintenance plan in utilities section
- Assist Supply Chain Management group with initiatives for inventory reduction through reclassifying and cataloguing of material
- Coordinate with maintenance team, engineering support and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and development of ongoing improvements
- Experience in erection, commissioning, and maintenance work of electrical and/or instrumentation systems

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
- Minimum of 5 years Maintenance Operations experience as CET, Tradesman, and Supervisor with proven understanding of maintenance processes and preventative maintenance techniques within all aspects of Planned Maintenance
- Practices development and update preventative maintenance plans
- Mechanical/Electrical Educational background
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blue prints, ladder logics
- Must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) and an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and to present oneself in a professional manner and represent the company image
- Must have strong organization skills
- Demonstrated leadership and project success are expected
