**Job Title**: Maintenance Scheduler/Planner (Remote)
**Location**: Remote

The Maintenance Scheduler/Planner will assist with the coordination of overall maintenance activities. This includes scheduling and planning of repairs and preventive maintenance as well as assisting with ordering replacement parts and coordination of shipping and receiving.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Utilizing G3’s maintenance management system, FIIX, will ensure that activities are properly entered and tracked.
- Develop continuous improvements within FIIX to track, manage and document G3’s maintenance activities and history. Tap into the unharnessed potential of the software and optimize the platform to maximize return of investment and minimize annual licensing costs.
- Train and assist users on G3’s FIIX maintenance management system.
- Document and identify overall maintenance activities for each elevator site.
- Coordinate the efforts of the Senior Facilities Engineer and the Regional Maintenance Technician with the sites to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance functions including, preventative maintenance, regular on-site maintenance, and the activities of third-party contractors.
- Provide administrative assistance for the consistent execution of maintenance operations in compliance with Quality, and EH&S programs and applicable G3 Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that work orders are initiated, provide clear instruction, and are completed/closed with all relative information.
- Schedule maintenance activities and communicate requirement in a timely manner between Operations/General Managers and Engineering support team.
- Ensure Subcontractor and 3rd party Service Providers are vetted, qualified and conduct their work in compliance with G3 EH&S Programs, Quality Programs and other applicable G3 policies and procedures.
- Assist sites to maintain parts inventory through FIIX software.
- Maintain key communications regarding asset health to Engineering support team.
- Attend weekly TEAMS meetings with engineering support team.
- Coordination and documentation of parts procurement including vendor selection, obtaining quotes, specifications documentation and delivery requirements.
- Coordination of purchasing, shipping, receiving, and documentation.
- Informing the Senior Facilities Engineer of any system failures or issues which interfere with these key responsibilities.
- Complies with requirements of G3’s Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- May be required to travel to the various sites.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Farm or grain industry experience a definite asset.
- Maintenance certification or a minimum of 5 years experience with the development and use of a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including governance and capabilities.
- Knowledge of the administration component of a grain elevator company operation.
- Extensive computer and software experience across multiple platforms including CMMS.
- Knowledge and proficient use of the functions and operation of the G3’s LV elevator control system.
- Ability to work with other departments to achieve desired goals where priorities may differ.
- Ability to work with vendors and third-party contractors to define, schedule, execute work and establish commercial terms.
- Ability to interpret and enforce commercial terms.
- Customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to travel.
