Bartender

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
