Our summer student program provides an opportunity to experience real-world challenges, collaborate with diverse teams, network with other students and create a vision for your future career path.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

- Provide general support within the Legal group which could include assistance with:

- Researching and analyzing legal issues;
- Communicating with internal clients;
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts;
- Reviewing and interpreting legislation, policies and related documentation; and,
- Interfacing with client groups on various matters while representing the Legal department in a professional manner
- Participate in various projects, as needed

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Currently enrolled in the 2nd year of a J.D. program or in the 3rd year of a combined J.D. program, and must be returning to studies after the work term
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with legal research and writing experience
- The ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with your team, peers, and diverse business groups
- Strong time management skills, with a deep desire to learn about various other departments
