Province Electric Supply is a full-line, service-oriented, electrical distributor with 12 branches across Southern Ontario.

**About the Role - Inside Sales / Counter Sales**

The Inside Sales / Counter Sales role is responsible for looking after incoming customer calls, dealing with customers for counter sales, as well as quoting, returns, and other duties that may include checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers and verifying prices. The incumbent of this role will also actively promote and drive business through the calling of customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle customer counter inquires and sales in a courteous and professional manner
- Some warehouse duties may also be assigned
- Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests including, but not limited to, quoting, order entry, pricing, purchasing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credits, and claims.
- Assist and support Account Managers by providing technical support to customers.
- Deal with product-related problems such as defective products, the return of products and warranty situations.
- Consult with customers after the sale to resolve problems and to provide support in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide customer feedback to the Branch Manager in a timely fashion.
- Participate in training sessions, branch meetings and sales meetings as requested.
- Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills & Experience**
- 1+ years’ experience in Sales (Electrical industry preferred).
- Must exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Possesses strong relationship building skills to cultivate and develop customer loyalty.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional phone manners.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
