**Job Overview**
We are one of the leading manufacturing companies of premium quality e-cigarette products in Canada.

We are currently seeking a dedicated hard-working Batching Technician to join our fast-growing team. Batching Technicians will be responsible for ensuring that all batching processes and activities are set up and run in a manner which maximizes quality, efficiency and safety while meeting all company standards.

We provide the eligible batching technicians with opportunities to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in handling advanced analytical instruments to help their further career advancement.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform batching in pairs by following the procedures of prep, set, measure, mix, and record batching work.
- Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
- Practice FIFO when using raw materials
- Restocks raw material shelves
- Perform sample collection for raw ingredients
- Assist Senior Batcher to complete the monthly inventory count.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Dispose of materials according to SOP
- Communicates non-conformances to the Supervisor
- Complete all the tasks provided by the Supervisor.
- Work on the other locations as per requirements

**Who we are looking for**:

- Strong mathematical skills for the accurate checking/weighing of ingredients and for bulk reconciliation
- Ability to work in an environment with a strong fragrant odour
- Strong attention to detail to properly measure raw materials and mix the products
- Good eyesight to identify numbers and letters on the documents and products.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to stand prolonged periods of time
- Ability to concentrate for an extended period of time
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with an effective ability to interact and respect diverse backgrounds, experiences, and styles. Good computer skills i.e.: experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a must

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Chemical or Food Processing or equivalent experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing/Food Industry is preferred

**Schedule**:
Full-time (Monday to Friday) Morning Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pmEvening Shift: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

Expected hours: 40 per week
