**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The Salon Assistant is an integral part of the Le Petit Salon team, focused on ensuring client satisfaction and smooth salon operations. Working closely with hairstylists, receptionists, and reporting directly to the General Manager, the Salon Assistant provides a wide range of support services. This role is perfect for a dedicated individual who wants to contribute to an upscale salon experience while also demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and client well-being.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Client Experience & Support**
- Greet clients and assist them in preparing for their services.
- Offer beverages and reading materials to ensure client comfort.
- Escort clients to the styling stations and introduce them to their hairstylists.
- Assist in shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing clients' hair.

**Salon Maintenance**
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon throughout the day.
- Sterilize and sanitize tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Restock and organize salon supplies.
- Assist in laundry duties.

**Assist with Hair Services**
- Provide support during hair coloring, cutting, and styling services.
- Assist in blow-drying and finishing touches.

**Receptionist Support**
- Assist the front desk by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling transactions.

**Team Collaboration**
- Work cohesively with hairstylists and receptionists to ensure a smooth operation.

**Miscellaneous**
- Exhibit flexibility, handling tasks or responsibilities as assigned by ownership.
- Handle money and company property with respect and the highest level of honesty and integrity.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- **Education**: High School diploma or equivalent, with a preference for additional certifications in the beauty industry.
- **Previous Experience**: Previous work experience in a salon, spa, or a high-touch customer service role is a considerable advantage.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
